Paediatrician
Lily has been referred to see a paediatrician at the Martyr Children's hospital, because she had a urinary tract infection last week. The paediatrician will do a special ultrasound to check for kidney problems, which UTIs in small children can lead to, or be an indicator of. The UTI is clearing well with the antibiotics, but the doc apparently sends all kids under 4 who have had a UTI for this u/s, as a precautionary measure. I have to send in the referral and wait for them to give me an appointment time, so I'll keep you all posted.

Lily should be feeling much better now that the anitbiotics are in her system. Poor little thing!
