What a great day it was, Lily was so spoiled and had a blast opening all her pressies and also sharing her special day with her friends at preschool. Matt had the week off work, so we made cupcakes together and went down to join Lily's class for afternoon tea. The cupcakes were a hit with the kiddos, some scoffing two! Lily tried but only got through the icing on her second one. :) They had done some face painting, and Lily got to be a butterfly and a flower, because it was her birthday LOL Shame it had mostly rubbed off by the time we arrived, so we didn't get any pics of her face while painted awww.

Thanks so much to all the friends and family for their lovely gifts! Lily is now the best-dressed kid in the city with all her new clothes. And she has heaps of new stuff to play and get creative with, which has been great on the rainy days we've had this week!
I can't believe my little girl is growing up so fast!
